hey
to enable touchpad in your laptop just follow these steps. it does not matter which laptop you are using.
1. click on the System menu.
2. go to preference
3. click on mouse option
4. now open the touchpad window.
5. select the option "ENABLE MOUSE CLICKS WITH TOUCHPAD"
6. & also click on the finger-scrolling.
now i am 110% sure that your touch pad will work.........
